“Incident Alert Systems was formed in 2004 in the response of a recognized need to
make our schools and public facilities safer.”
Designed by Pros for Ease of Use
History
Reports of violence within public and private facilities such as schools and
shopping malls have become all too common; from these experiences we recognized
the need for a rapid alert and emergency communication system that is fast,
effective, and economical, and can address a wide variety of emergency situations.
With this objective Incident Alert Systems (IAS) was formed.
The founders of the company bring diversity in knowledge and life experiences to
the table. Each shares a common goal of preserving human life and providing a safe
and healthy learning environment for our children and their
educators. With this pool of talent the Fast Alert®
system was designed. Since its genesis our company has worked closely with agencies
such as the Washington State School Safety Advisory Committee, Prepared Response Inc.,
and the Washington Association of Sheriffs and Police Chief's to ensure that our product
met the needs of those professionals who would be directly responsible for managing
critical incidents.
It is the firm belief of the company founders that where the
Fast Alert® warning system is installed,
it will demonstrate its ability to increase security, improve emergency response, save
lives and minimize injuries during critical incidents and natural disasters.
